Boarding

Fly Creek Kennels, located 30 minutes east of Billings, MT, offers all-inclusive boarding. This means that all activities are included in the cost of the stay. Each dog stays in our climate-controlled kennel building which has 5×5 indoor runs with access to a 5×10 outdoor run. The dogs are able to move freely from inside to out as long as the weather permits us to leave their doggy doors open.

The building is also equipped with large windows and skylights to provide the dogs with fresh air and natural light. All kennels are sanitized daily and routinely spot checked throughout the day. Each kennel has an individual drain to prevent any cross-contamination. Your dog will also be provided an elevated bed to keep him off the floor while he sleeps. Soothing music is played throughout the building 24 hours a day to help create a calming atmosphere.

Boarding Activities

During your dogs stay they will receive an array of activities that include:

• Group playtimes – During group play, your dog will be matched up with dogs of equal temperament and energy. If your dog is unable to get along with others, we have a separate yard where he can stretch his legs and run around.

Boarding Requirements

Owners will be required to provide their own dog food to ensure your dog’s diet remains consistent during their stay. If your dog is on any medications or supplements, we will administer them at no extra cost IF properly put in pill pockets and bagged with food as shown in the video below.
Owners must also provide a copy of recent vet records which must include:
•DHLPP
•3-year Rabies
•Bordetella – We require every dog to have had the Bordetella vaccination within 6 months of their stay. The vaccination must be given no later than 10 days before your dog’s kennel stay to be effective. If your dog receives this in less than 10 days before the visit, they run the risk of being exposed to kennel cough.

Medications

If your dog is in need of medication, we require owners to bag and tag each meal with medications. This video is an example of how you should bag your dog’s food and medications.  A $2 fee will be charged per day if medication is not properly prepared.

Recommended

Because your dog will be involved in a variety of outdoor activities we strongly recommend flea and tick preventative along with heart guard, but they are not required.
